The Penny Quilt Pattern PDF

Designed by Penny Vanderwal, this quilt was entered into the Jelly Roll Dream Challenge competition and was featured in the book Jelly Roll Dreams by Pat & Nicky Lintott. This downloadable eight-page full-colour PDF pattern has all the instructions, piecing diagrams and templates to create the tessellating Penny quilt, named for its designer and for the circular motif used in the border.

Finished size: 64½in x 64½in

Fabric requirements: One jelly roll or forty 2½in wide strips cut across the width of the fabric; 8in (20cm) of fabric for inner border (width of fabric); 1 1/8yd (1m) of fabric for outer border; ½yd (0.5m) of fabric for binding; thin card for needle-turn appliqué.
