Black Hole PDF Quilt Pattern

Designed by Brenda Sanders, this quilt was entered into the Jelly Roll Dream Challenge competition and was featured in the book Jelly Roll Dreams by Pat & Nicky Lintott. This downloadable six-page full-colour PDF pattern has all the instructions and piecing diagrams to create the contemporary Black Hole quilt. This is a challenging quilt, as the blocks use strips of different widths, which means cutting some of the jelly roll strips lengthwise. It also requires organization as each block has a different colour combination but the results are dramatic and rewarding. Finished size: 52in x 52in Fabric requirements: One jelly roll or forty 2½in wide strips cut across the width of the fabric; 1 5/8yd (1.5m) of fabric for background; (binding is made from jelly roll strips).
